RevJet Expands Executive Team; Hires Proven MarTech Veterans to Fill Chief Revenue Officer and VP Marketing Roles

Former Google Head of Platform Sales to lead revenue team; Former Radius and Offermatica marketing leader to head marketing

SAN CARLOS, CA, November 19, 2014 — RevJet, the start-up slated to reveal a radically different ad-tech platform in 2015, has hired two seasoned industry leaders to head up RevJet's sales and marketing functions. Patrick D. Meehan, RevJet's new Chief Revenue Officer, brings over a decade of ad-tech sales leadership experience in roles with Google and DoubleClick, most recently as Head of Platform Sales at Google. Darren Waddell, an accomplished technology marketer, has been appointed Vice President of Marketing. Waddell began his career as a Lead Analyst with Gartner Dataquest, and brings more than fifteen years of experience leading digital marketing teams, including roles at VeriSign, Radius and Offermatica – the leading marketing optimization platform acquired by Omniture (now known as Adobe Target).

Patrick Meehan, RevJet's new CRO, started his career at a variety of advertising agencies in account executive and account management roles. Meehan joined DoubleClick in 2004 where he helped the company achieve and expand its leadership position in the ad server market, resulting in Google's $3.1 billion acquisition of DoubleClick in 2007. Over the next seven years, Meehan was given ever-more responsibility at Google in a variety of roles, most recently as Head of Platform Sales for Google/Doubleclick's ad-tech platform.

"Over my ten years at DoubleClick and Google I saw a whole lot of ad-tech start-ups", said Meehan. "RevJet struck me as completely unique, with radically different technology that actually unlocks the largest remaining untapped source of value in digital advertising. I can't wait to introduce RevJet to the marketplace."

Darren Waddell, RevJet's new VP Marketing, has a fifteen-plus year track record of leading high-performance marketing teams at both early stage and established technology firms. Among other roles, Darren led marketing at Offermatica, which Omniture bought in 2007 for $65 million. He also led product management and marketing at MerchantCircle, which Reply! acquired for $60 million in 2011. Darren has also held senior management roles at venture-backed technology companies focused on retail, marketing technology and B2B markets.

"Technology continues to revolutionize marketing and I'm certain we're choosing the perfect time to introduce the RevJet platform," says Waddell. "RevJet will finally empower marketers and agencies to realize the vision of delivering the right message to the right audience at the right time."

"We're delighted to welcome these two seasoned industry veterans to RevJet's leadership team," said Mitchell Weisman, RevJet's founder and CEO. "This represents huge validation for the RevJet vision and we will benefit mightily from the perspectives Patrick and Darren bring from their experiences at Google, Doubleclick, VeriSign, Offermatica and elsewhere."
